Insights Session – Rising to the Top How to Build and Leverage Your Personal Brand (By Invitation only)
Every year at Insights we offer a special session exclusively for our Fast Track for Growth participants. This year we’re excited to offer you a session lead by Geni Whitehouse, Rising to the Top: How to Build and Leverage Your Personal Brand, (GEN46), on Wednesday, May 19 at 8:00 am.
Session Abstract: Are you tired of getting lost in the crowd? In today’s economy, the people who succeed are the ones who know how to make an impact. They know their strengths and they can communicate them succinctly. They are the ones who get promoted, survive layoffs, and constantly find new client opportunities. And they make the people around them better by association. From staff to owners, everyone on your team needs a strong personal brand that helps set your organization apart. In this session, you’ll learn the secrets to creating and promoting a personal brand – so that everyone on your team can have more confidence and make a greater impact on their clients and prospects.
The presenter: Geni Whitehouse. She’s been called the “comedian CPA.” A self-proclaimed nerd, former technology executive and CPA firm partner, Geni Whitehouse has made it her mission to eliminate boring from the world of presentations. From sales tax, to Sarbanes-Oxley, to International Financial Reporting Standards, no subject can remain boring once she works her magic. She aptly uses her southern accent, circuitous career history, and burning love of all things techy to craft the perfect message for every audience. By combining “unique” visual aids with a high-energy delivery, Geni can make any subject, no matter how nerdy, come alive. Geni’s spirited presentations are equally informative and entertaining, with plenty of audience interaction. Geni believes her mission as a presenter is to understand a subject well enough to approach it from an angle that will not only educate her audiences—but will resonate with them.
